Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order offers players a rich single-player campaign packed with intense lightsaber combat and intricate environmental exploration. Navigating the galaxy as Cal Kestis requires a careful balance between pushing forward through main story objectives and revisiting previously explored areas to uncover hidden rewards. Understanding how main missions intersect with world secrets is essential for fully mastering the game.
Navigating Main Campaign Objectives
Each planet in Fallen Order features interconnected paths designed around Cal's expanding Force abilities. Progressing through primary story quests unlocks new powers like Force Push and Pull, which open up previously inaccessible routes across planets like Zeffo and Kashyyyk. Staying focused on the main path until key abilities are unlocked saves significant time during backtracks.
Finding Hidden Chests and Secrets
Secret areas throughout the galaxy contain valuable upgrades, including stim canisters, force essences, and unique cosmetic options. Exploring side routes often leads to tough optional encounters or environmental puzzles that reward thorough investigation. Utilizing BD-1's Holomap helps identify unexplored passages marked in green and locked paths marked in red.
Mastering Tomb Puzzles and Traps
Ancient tombs on planets such as Zeffo present complex physical puzzles that test your grasp of game mechanics. Solving these challenges involves manipulating wind currents, heavy spheres, and magnetic fields using your Force abilities. Taking a methodical approach to these environments ensures you progress smoothly without missing vital lore logs.
Backtracking with Upgraded Abilities
Revisiting earlier planets after acquiring late-game abilities reveals hidden chambers and shortcuts that were originally out of reach. Upgrades like the powered zipline and double jump transform how you navigate earlier zones, allowing you to achieve completion status across every sector. Planning efficient routes for backtracking makes collecting every remaining secret straightforward and satisfying.
